Life has been an interesting rollercoaster ride, as I'm sure it is for many people! Growing up, I worked with horses, cats, birds, and a rabbit-any animal I was able to spend time with! I always loved watching relationships between animals, and how they communicate with each other. This has definitely made capturing specific moments intuitive for me, and I love telling the story of our pets through photography.

My formal training has been in electrical engineering-specifically, microwaves and photonics (the science of light!). Interestingly enough, I chose this strand in order to learn more about how light works-and I got a whole lot more! I will always have a soft spot for solar energy and light-related work.
I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), and have completed a Professional Dog Trainer course in Ottawa at Best Friends Dog Training to build some new relationships and participate in new discussions as the industry grows. I have also earned the title of Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) with the University of Tennessee.

I enjoy training in a variety of sports-agility, disc, freestyle, treibball, fitness, tricks, obedience, barn hunt, scent detection, dock diving, and water rescue to name a few. My training background helps me capture you and your pets at their best!

I am learning to live with disability and am at fewer events than I have been in the past. I hope to see you at the rare events I can attend-I cherish the friends I have made through photography and dog sports. Come say hello!

I hope you enjoy my work! Check out more on Facebook by clicking the icon below!
